ABOUT ME

Lukas is a Sydney, Australia based creative who has an expansive skillset in producing, directing, casting and acting.

A graduate of the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (2016) and holder of a Diploma of Business (2023), Lukas is best known for his portrayal of Ryder Jackson on Home and Away (2017–2022).

Since leaving the series, he has developed a body of work with a strong focus on queer storytelling. His directing work includes music videos such as PENELOPE’s latest single BiConic (2023), as well as the web series The Boy Who Was Afraid of Everything (2024). The series premiered at the 2023 Sydney Web Festival, received two nominations at the 2024 LA Web Festival, and was an official selection at SeriesFest 2024 in Denver, Colorado.

Lukas has also worked in casting for over 15 years, beginning at Fountainhead Casting and continuing at Chicken & Chips Casting, where he works as a session director and casting associate across TVCs and feature films.

In 2023, Lukas directed and produced a pilot episode of the docu-series Cooking With Queerness, a culinary deep dive into queer history and food.

He is currently producing the feature film Haven’t You Heard? Everyone Hates Me alongside Studio47, starring Kick Gurry, Nina Oyama and Luca Sardelis, slated for release in 2026.

Alongside his creative practice, Lukas works in Partnerships and Community Fundraising at children’s disability service charity, The Shepherd Centre.
